Purpose and agreement

This website presents VisualBite digital menus, dish scanning, 3D/AR models and related services for businesses. Browsing the site or submitting the enquiry form does not create a paid subscription. A paid engagement requires an accepted offer or service agreement identifying the provider, scope and commercial terms. These website terms do not replace that agreement.

Prices and offers

Published prices are in Swiss francs, excluding 8.1% VAT where applicable. Monthly plans are advertised with 30 days’ cancellation notice. The free one-dish test, annual setup waiver and 90-day setup refund promise are described on the pricing page; the accepted offer must record their scope and practical arrangements. Travel within the canton of Zurich is included as advertised; travel outside it is quoted before booking. Additional work or expenditure requires agreement. Existing contractual rights cannot be changed simply by updating this website.

Payments through the menu

Online payment through the menu is available on the Growth and Performance plans and is optional for each restaurant. Payments are processed by Stripe; each restaurant opens and verifies its own Stripe account and accepts Stripe’s terms. Guest payments go directly to the restaurant, not to wahrnehmbar.ch gmbh. Stripe’s transaction fees are charged to the restaurant at cost; VisualBite adds no commission on menu payments. The restaurant remains the seller of its food and drinks and is responsible for prices, receipts, VAT, refunds and guest complaints. VisualBite provides the ordering and payment interface and is not a party to the payment between guest and restaurant.

Content and restaurant responsibility

Restaurants must approve their descriptions, prices, images, translations, allergens and nutritional information before publication and notify changes. 3D and AR displays are visual illustrations: colours, proportions and compatibility vary by device and do not replace accurate menu or allergen information. Questions about ingredients and dietary safety must be checked directly with the restaurant.

Intellectual property and references

Website materials, software, photographs and models remain subject to their owners’ rights. Viewing and normal use do not grant a right to extract, resell or republish them. Rights to commissioned models and restaurant branding, including any commercial portfolio use and opt-out, are set out in the signed service agreement. These website terms alone do not grant us marketing rights over visitor or restaurant content.

Acceptable use and availability

Do not attempt unauthorised access, upload unlawful material, interfere with the service or misuse the enquiry form. We maintain the site with reasonable care, but demonstrations and external links may be unavailable or change. No sales result, device compatibility or uninterrupted availability is promised merely by this marketing site. Liability is governed by applicable law and any valid service agreement; liability for intent or gross negligence and other mandatory liability is not excluded.

Privacy and legal framework
